Christmas Break Enjoyments

One of my Christmas presents this year was an iTunes gift card (thanks Grandpa and Grandma!). I have what you might called a love/hate relationship with iTunes gift cards. I absolutely love music, but when it comes time to buy it, I get super overwhelmed by everything that's out there. This time, however, the music buying process was relatively painless and I absolutely love the two CDs that I bought. So much so that I'm going to share them with you and hope that you'll at least listen to them, if not buy them too!

The first cd I bought is actually on sale right now on iTunes (so buy it ASAP). It's called the Goat Rodeo Sessions and it's a a compilation of an amazing group of musicians. You all know who Yo-Yo Ma is, and Chris Thile is the best mandolin player in the world. It's an amazing cd of blue grass, classical, and jazz all mixed into one. My favorite song is called "Attaboy," and you should definitely listen to it by clicking here as soon as you're done reading this blog post.

The second cd is called "Here For You" and it's a collection of the songs sung at the Passion Conference by artists like Chris Tomlin, Christy Nockels, and Kristian Stanfill. It is amazing. I listened to the entire cd in one sitting yesterday afternoon and I absolutely love it. I can't wait to learn all the songs. So far, my favorite songs are "Lord, I Need You" by Chris Tomlin (click here to listen), and "Always" by Kristian Stanfill (click here to listen).

Wow, two blog posts today! Can you tell that I don't really know what to do with myself now that I'm on break? Oh well, I'm not complaining.
