This is me. This was me. This was me after I spent almost an hour writing one measly little paragraph for a college application essay. There is nothing as uninspiring as a college essay question. But it is done. The battle is won! I came, I wrote... and we'll find out whether or not I conquered.
But all is not lost. My work is not in vain - today was proof of that. I got home from school to find a thin envelope on my desk from St. Thomas that said "Scholarship Information Enclosed!" Oh great, I thought as I opened it. This little guy is so puny that it's probably just a letter that says "Thanks for wasting our time." I pulled out the letter to find, however, that St. Thomas is offering me a scholarship that would cover roughly 40% of my entire college cost. And that's without any major-specific scholarships or financial aid loans/grants tacked on. Today, I am very thankful.
